We don’t know how long it will take Argos to fix this; hopefully not long. But if you’re desperate to buy now (and speed is often of the essence when seeking deals), we’ve found a workaround. The first is to try removing cookies and then re-adding the product to your basket. Assuming that doesn’t work, there’s a stranger solution: if there are two or more products in the shopping trolley, the savings apply as normal. This might not seem like a good solution, because you end up buying twice as many things which cancels out the saving entirely. And adding a second product, then removing it, doesn’t seem to work. But the trick is that the second item has no minimum price. So if you were planning on saving £40 on this awesome LEGO sailing boat, it would be well worth spending £2 on Harry Potter minifigures (or something else cheap) to make sure that saving actually happens. Good luck getting those discounts, people. If LEGO is your thing, check out our guide to the best LEGO deals.
